Believe it or not, trauma (abuse, neglect, sexual exploitation within the home, witnessing traumatic incidents, etc.) can lead to anxiety. Anxiety is a beat many people struggle with today. Our lives are built upon stress which often leads to anxiety. Unfortunately, the world takes advantage of our anxiety and pushes us to achieve (working daily jobs, filling our lives with stress, keeping up with schedules, scheduling too much in one day, living too actively, etc.).
