Trauma-based & Family Psychotherapy For Angry, Anxious, Depressed, and Frustrated Families

Anchored In Knowledge -New Site for Counseling, Blogs, and Services!

Hi there,

I just wanted to send you a personal message letting you know that my new website (and built in private practice/blog) is out! It’s been a long journey with so many people behind the scenes working. I probably have learned way more about CSS and HTML than I’d care to! But I’m sure you were wondering what happened to Anchored In Knowledge yesterday and this is it. It was under construction and is still undergoing multiple changes.

While changes were being made, I worried that my awesome followers and friends would think I closed down the site. You are what makes this site special and what motivates me to keep it going. Without you, there would be no purpose for Anchored In Knowledge. What I love about many of you who follow me is that you have a passion for matters of mental health and that’s hard to find in today’s social media world. So not only did I want to update you about my site’s changes, but I also wanted to send you a BIG thank you! Please be patient as we work out the kinks!

I hope that you will continue to follow Anchored In Knowledge and contribute the wonderful things that you do (comments, likes, tweets, support, knowledge, personal experience, etc).

See you soon with a brand new article!

Take care

As always, I wish you well

*CORONA VIRUS UPDATE1050 Lincoln Way, Ste 1 - Pittsburgh PA

States across the nation are passing laws, reducing restrictions, and enacting new regulations to help support the transition from stay-at-home orders to the normal flow of life again.

To keep everyone at Anchored Child & Family Counseling safe, I will only be opening the office for in-person sessions 1 day of the week. The other days of the week will consist of teletherapy sessions until the mask wearing restrictions are reduced or eliminated and corona virus cases have gone down.

My office assistant and I will be monitoring insurance policies for any changes to corona-related cost share, copayment, and coinsurance policies. I will be checking and rechecking insurance policies to ensure you will be covered for teletherapy. At this time, all major insurance companies (UPMC, Highmark, Aetna, Optum/United, and Cigna) are continuing to provide coverage for teletherapy into September 2020.

Please check (the practice website) for updates and my business facebook page at:

Please continue to stay safe!
Thank you
