But multiple reports have stirred concerned from the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regarding the behavioral and central nervous system affects sedatives or tranquilizer’s can have on human beings. One of the most pressing issues is driving ability. A driving simulator used in clinical trials have shown a reduced ability to drive safely and with alertness while under the influence of “sleep-aids.” Many people have experienced the negative consequences of these sedatives and the FDA is evaluating how best to deal with this situation, despite widespread opposition.
